Bio
Ada Nieves is a renowned certified FIT pet fashion designer, gourmet treat baker and successful pawty planner.
She and her four professional pet actor Chihuahuas have appeared on many national and international shows, including; several TV shows at Animal Planet network, BBC London, Canida Oscar/Italy TV, Woef/Dutch Puppy TV, Pet Dish/MSN, Puppy Weddings/WE TV, Sabado Gigante/Univision , Mike & Juliet Show, The Martha Stewart Show and Conan O’Brien late night show to name a few.
Ada’s dog treats are so creative they have been called Top 10 to have for dogs by shows like K-9 Karma, The Today Show and Forbes.Com.
Ada has been for the last four years the dog fashion designer for the Pre-Westminster Fashion show. She created the first Dog Oscars Gowns that gave her international recognition, they are replicas of the dresses famous actresses like Penelope Cruz & Kate Winslet wore on the Red Carpet for the Oscars in 2005.
She also has participated in several events that include; Fashion Show for the New England Grooming Expo, Sizoo Barcelona 2005, ABC’s Canine Couture and NYC Canine Cruise. Recently having her "Moulin Rouge" collection featured at Pet Fashion Week, Brazil.
A native Puerto Rican, strong advocate and active Latina, Ada is breaking ground in the world dog community. She is the official “It Girl” for exciting pet events in New York City.
Ada is feature in One Nation Under Dog Book by Michael Schaffer as " The Queen of Pet Networking" and a "Connector" , runs the largest chihuahua group in the nation , Host her Pet Life Radio talk show:Vida Doggie, writes for the examiner and is a colaborator for FIDO FRIENDLY magazine.
She also joins www.InkyBlueSea.org as their vice-president of special events and comunications. Also is the president of a dog walking service company www.mydogwalks.com

Dog wedding dresses are not on the list, but maybe Eli and Vanilla are starting a trend of their own. With nearly 45 million dog owners in the U.S., according to the National Pet Owners Survey, that means there are more than 22 million potential upcoming pet weddings.
